Intetics and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), two of IAOP Corporate Members, have joined forces to launch a new IAOP Eastern Europe Chapter with the intent to raise awareness of this region as an outsourcing destination and promote the industry and profession. Initially the Chapter is based in Ukraine and Poland, with the plans to expand to other countries within Eastern Europe. As part of its educational effort, the Chapter will be hosting training and certification programs on a periodic basis to support professional development of the regional outsourcing workforce. It will also encourage constructive dialogue and cooperation between customers, providers, advisors, and agencies with the aim of outsourcing market development. The inaugural meeting of the IAOP Eastern Europe Chapter with featured presentations by Intetics and PwC will be held on December 2, 2009 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

This year Intetics participated in two international conferences: Software Quality Assurance Days 2009 held in St.-Petersburg, Russia and Software Engineering Forum 2009 which took place in Minsk, Belarus. Our company was represented by Vitaly Streluk (Software Engineer), Sergey Revko (Senior Software Engineer), and Sergei Terekhov (Director Quality Assurance/Release Manager). Intetics has recently started a new engagement with a Belgian-based client, a major pan-European offset printing converter in paper, board and micro-flute packaging as well as a supplier of packaging solutions and machines. We have successfully delivered a Flex Development Environment project with very positive feedback, which served as a basis for launching a new Dashboard Framework project. Built upon our unique Offshore Dedicated Team™ delivery model, the project involves three IT specialists so far. Both sides are satisfied with the results achieved and expect cooperation to grow and deepen.

Intetics is delighted to present its new service offering - System Integration. By merging and deploying hardware and software components from different vendors into one system we let our clients - banks, large trading companies, and public sector enterprises - benefit from more effective customized IT infrastructure solutions. Outsourcing partnership of Intetics and IMPAQ has been selected as the semi-finalist of the Outsourcing Excellence awards, dubbed as "Oscars of Outsourcing". There are several prominent companies among this year contest winners and participants, including Sun Microsystems, Hewitt Associates, Perot Systems, IBM and Accenture. The contest is held under the Outsourcing Center's annual awards program, sponsored by Everest Group and Forbes. It recognizes the world's best outsourcing relationships where both parties demonstrate commitment to the best practices, and continually create mutually beneficial outcomes. The selection process is very strict but objective: the nomination form questions are answered jointly by the buyer and service provider, and the submitted information as well as information obtained from the buyer telephone interview is further reviewed by an independent judging panel.

Intetics has been named a Global Services 100 company for the second time. GS 100 is an annual study conducted by neoIT and Global Services magazine with the aim of identifying the top Information technology (ITO) and Business Process (BPO) service providers across the globe. Boris Kontsevoi, President of Intetics, participated in the Financial Services Industry Transformation and Outsourcing Strategies Summit held on February 24, 2009 in London. Its program directly addressed the post-crisis future of IT and outsourcing services in the financial services industry. Special focus was put on the emerging trends, transformation, executive perspectives and enterprise case studies in the realm of financial services outsourcing. Designed to bring together senior management and specialists involved in the finance and sourcing spheres, the summit provided them with relevant and action-oriented information during hands-on sessions conducted by acknowledged leaders and practitioners of the industry.

Alex Golod, Managing Partner of Intetics, took part in the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) World Summit on February 16-18. 450 participants representing buyers, providers, and advisors, gathered in Carlsbad, California to discuss the future of outsourcing and learn the very latest industry trends. This year’s summit explored the management science of outsourcing, examined the multitude of standards, practices and theories it incorporates, and focused on the management profession of outsourcing and corporate social investment through outsourcing among other subjects.

The last quarterly meeting of the IAOP Chicago Chapter was held on January 22, 2009 at DePaul University in downtown Chicago. The meeting was attended by over 55 outsourcing professionals involved in outsourcing as customers, providers and advisors. The main themes on the agenda were the lifecycle of a deal and overview of emerging outsourcing locations. Software Magazine, a brand name in the high-tech industry for nearly 30 years, has recently included Intetics in its "Beyond the Software 500" list. The ranking traditionally covers top 500 software and services providers of the world, but this year's survey proved to be the most competitive in the last five years and the publication decided to go further and examine firms who did not make the list in 2008. They have selected 100 companies in the under $5,000,000 category with Intetics being ranked in the 531 - 540 decile.

The Web Marketing Association (WMA), an organization devoted to setting a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate Web site development, announced it has named Intetics and Adorama Camera Inc. as 2008 WebAward recipients. Adorama Camera is one of the largest photo retail and mail order suppliers in the US. Alex Golod, Intetics´ Managing Partner, has recently given a three-part interview to Michael Muth, Managing Director of GATA, a Chicago-based international business development consultancy.

In part one of the interview, Golod focuses primarily on the evolution of Intetics, the services it provides and the areas of specialization. He reveals what it takes to guarantee high standards of quality in the outsourcing market and withstand Asian competition.

The IEEE Computer Magazine has recently published an article "The Changing World of Outsourcing" by Neal Leavitt, the president of LeavittCommunication, a California-based international marketing communications company. The article dwells upon the modern trends in the outsourcing industry and refers to the experience of Intetics as a global software development company which has been operating in the IT market for a period of 12 years.

The author shares his understanding of the reasons why the volume of offshore outsourcing has increased significantly since 1990s and describes the most important changes which have occurred in this period. He also mentions new outsourcing destinations which are now actively competing with India and provides a detailed analysis of strong and weak points of partnering with IT-providers in each of the country. An important topic covered in the article is consolidation of offshore providers in order to stay competitive in the fast growing outsourcing market. Intetics participated in the Orbit-iEX event that was held at Exhibition Center Zurich on May 22-25, 2007. Orbit-iEX is the Swiss business platform for information and communication technology. Intetics participated in CeBIT 2007, the world´s largest digital IT and telecommunications solutions trade fair that took place on March 15-21, 2007 in Hanover, Germany. Intetics Co. will take part in the II Ukrainian Outsourcing Forum to be held on November 29 and 30, 2005, in Kiev, Ukraine, at Ukrainian House (Kreschatik, 2). The Forum is held by the Ukrainian Hi-Tech Initiative alliance , in cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of Software Developers and a number of media companies. The objective of the forum is to assist the participants in promoting software development and outsourcing services market.

Intetics Co. participated in the 6th US-Russian IT-Season which was held on September 22, 2005, in Chicago, IL. The conference focused on enhancing cooperation in IT outsourcing, staffing, software development legal aspects, and sales between Russian and American companies. Intetics will take part in U.S. Small Business Administration's SBA Expo 2005 which will feature a small business expo, business seminars, a town hall meeting and award ceremonies honoring the nation's top entrepreneurs and state and national small business winners. Other highlights will include notable speakers and business industry leaders. Business matchmaking will pair small businesses or "sellers" with government or corporate executives or "buyers" to make on-site contracting deals. SBA Expo 2005 will take place on April 26-28, 2005, in Washington, D.C., U.S.A.

Among the issues discussed were the the options, risks, and opportunities of IT outsourcing; implementation strategies tailored for distinct audiences; long-range forecasts and industry trends; practical guidelines and best practices.

Intetics Co. will sponsor a matchmaking event that will allow the US companies interested in outsourcing to meet the leading Russian, Ukrainian, and Belarusian software development companies. The highlights of the seminar are the prospects and challenges of outsourcing overseas, the growth of the IT outsourcing market, and the rapid progress in QA. The event will take place on February 24, in Denver, Colorado, US.
